Held on the third Thursday of November each year and celebrated across the world to mark the first wines of the 2022 Beaujolais harvest. Traditionally, under French law, the wine is released at 12.01am after a race to get the bottles to market – just weeks after the wine's grapes have been harvested.
In keeping with the traditional embargo, the bottles will be available in store on Thursday 17th November! However, they may go quickly so pre-order now for local delivery or collection from Thursday 17th November.
We'll also have Persille de Beaujolais, a mild blue from the Beaujolais region, and baguettes baked by Browns of Brockley (the perfect accompaniment!) – both available in-store only from Thursday 17th to Sunday 20th November.
