Ayinger Brewery has a long history starting all the way back in 1810, where Peter Liebhard ran the old monastic tavern on the property "Zum Pfleger" and began the process of starting his own brewery in Bavaria. It wasn't till the late 1920's the Ayinger beer had been bottled and known around Munich. Still family run, the brewery is thought to be one of the most technically advanced breweries in Europe today.
This beer brewed for Oktoberfest is a lightly sweet lager with a malty nose balanced with floral hops. A deep golden colour tinted with amber. Medium to big body with alcohol that isn’t overpowering. Soft dryness from the long maturation.
